Kindle version very disappointing:

The Kindle version of this book is very disappointing. It is full of typos and was not apparently proof-read or even spell-checked. I'm looking at a chapter called "TARE CONTRRL OF ANY SITUATION" (sic). Very disappointing.

Useful for Teachers:

I was amazed at how useful this information was. I will begin this next school term with more confidence. I can use these techniques while dealing with students, parents and even administrators. And of course, it is useful for everyday life. Everyone in education needs to read this, or any occupation which requires dealing with mass communication.

Great book with practical techniques - highly recommended:

I loved this book. Each chapter has simple psychological techniques to get to certain end goals. For example, get someone to like you at work or personally, deal with someone whose requirements you did not meet, respond to someone who is attacking you unfairly, etc. Very easy read with good techniques to start trying right away. I am an IT project manager and the techniques are very applicable.

Self Help Book With Excellent Sections and Highly Manipulative Sections Best for Detecting When Somebody Tries to Manipulate You:

I learned a lot and for that the book is worth 5 stars. Be warned however that some parts seem to advocate becoming flat out manipulative.
The manipulative parts can be extrapolated from the following example. The author suggests that when somebody helps you on a project, you can try to bind them to hanging in there until the project is done by saying: "what I appreciate about you is that when you help others, you always follow through to the end, making sure the project is completed."
